Radar Tutorial

Basic information on how radar (Radio Detection and Ranging) works. Electromagnetic waves reflect off objects like light rays off a reflective surface. Radars send out a pulse signal and look for the reflected return signal pulse. Radar signals travel at the speed of light C = 300 km/sec. Time for reflected (round-trip) return signal 2x distance/C.
