Pentek Introduces a New Family of PCI Express Boards
- Routing flexibility designed for communications, software radio, radar, telemetry, and signal intelligence applications
- Gen 2 PCI Express half-length x8 interface
- Latest PC and blade server compatibility
- Direct FPGA connectivity and IP development tools
The 7800 series is the latest family of Pentek SDR products to feature the PCI Express (PCIe) form factor with advanced connectivity options. Pentek's new series comprises: the Models 7841, 7842, 7850, 7851, 7852, 7856 and 7890. With a wide range of I/O performance features and FPGA configurations, customers can choose exactly what they need for very cost-effective, high-density solutions.
The Model 7841 included two 125 MHz, 14-bit A/Ds and two 500 MHz 16-bit D/As. It features one TI/Graychip GC4016 quad DDC (digital downconverter) with output bandwidths up to 10 MHz, one DUC (digital upconverter) and one Virtex-II Pro FPGA. For more information for Model 7841, click here.
